Credentials

Certificates and Transcripts

What ACLAS graduates receive after completion, how digital credentials work, and when optional hard-copy documents or authentication services may be useful.

Included after completion

Graduates receive digital completion documents for the program they completed. Degree graduates receive a certificate and academic transcript; certificate learners receive the applicable certificate record.

  • Credentials include a unique certificate ID.
  • Employers can check the ID through ACLAS verification.
  • Optional hard-copy packages and authentication services are charged separately.

When to order extras

Hard-copy documents, apostille certification and third-party evaluation reports are usually needed only when an employer, institution, regulator or government office specifically asks for them.

What the documents look like

Four documents, two kinds of award

A degree produces three documents. A non-degree certificate program produces one. These are representative samples of each, so you can see what an employer or university would actually be shown.

Sample ACLAS degree certificate showing the award name, graduate name and certificate ID

Degree certificate

Issued for a completed bachelor's, master's or doctoral program. It names the award, the graduate and the completion date, and carries a unique certificate ID.

Sample ACLAS academic transcript listing completed courses, grades and credit hours

Academic transcript

The full record behind a degree: every course taken, the grade awarded for each, credit hours and the final academic standing.

Sample letter of recommendation issued by ACLAS alongside a degree award

Letter of recommendation

A signed statement of the graduate's capabilities, issued with a degree award. Useful when an employer, university or licensing body asks for supporting documentation.

Sample ACLAS non-degree certificate of completion for a professional certificate program

Certificate program document

Issued for a non-degree Mini-MBA, Executive or Professional Certificate. It records completion of the program and carries a verifiable certificate ID, but no academic credit.

Degree certificates, transcripts and recommendation letters are issued for the five degree programs. Mini-MBA, Executive and Professional Certificate programs issue the certificate document only, and it carries no academic credit toward a degree.
